COA's Delivered Kosher Meals Service
Operation
COA has been organising Kosher Meals-on-Wheels for over 25 years. Meals are made to order at a Kosher caterers, and delivered to COA’s cold room for delivery by an army of volunteers in the eastern and northern suburbs. Over 100 volunteers are involved in the delivery and administration of Delivered Kosher Meals.

Available to
Frail, aged and younger people with disabilities who are unable to prepare their own food. Meals are also available on compassionate grounds and in emergency situations - such as discharge from hospital.

Home Delivered
Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings including Public Holidays to the Eastern Suburbs, and on Wednesday to the North Shore. Food is supplied for seven days a week, and is delivered in sealed containers, ready to be heated or frozen.

Easy to Arrange
Simply call COA’s Offices on 9389 0035. Every request for kosher meals is individually assessed before commencement of the service – unless in emergency situations.

Flexible Payment Arrangements
Payment should be made to the meal deliverer, or by arrangement with the office for accounts and card payments.

Affordable
Full pensioners pay $8.50, non-pensioners $12.00 per meal. The cost of meals is heavily subsidised by the COA. Special arrangements can be made in case of financial difficulties.

The Meals
Fresh nutritious food is prepared by Passion8 Kosher Caterers under supervision of the NSW Kashrut Authority. Below is a sample of the types of meals on our weekly menu:

All delivered meals come with vegetables, rice or potato, and soup or dessert. Meals are chosen in advance by recipients from the current Menu, and cannot be changed or cancelled with less than 2 working days notice. All orders, changes and questions regarding our Kosher Meals-on Wheels service can be made direct to the coordinator on Monday, Wednesday or Friday mornings.
