Tai Chi on Tuesday at COA Finally COVID restrictions have eased and people are getting back their confidence with being outdoors and in groups, enough so that COA can once again offer exercise classes in our Centre. We have started with a new class for all levels of fitness and suitable for those who are already familiar with the stretches and movements of Tai Chi, and those who have never joined a class like this before. Tai Chi is not just a way to keep the body healthy and limber, it is also a great exercise for the mind, almost a meditation, which helps participants feel refreshed and relaxed. We are gifted with a wonderful volunteer, Monica Foltyn, who is a seasoned Tai Chi practitioner and facilitates the class for us on Tuesdays from 12:30 -1:30. Monica's class is very informal with no need to be in gym clothes, just wear something that is comfortable and does not restrict movement.
