Technology Classes 

Classes are held on Thursday 9am-11am at a cost of $5 per lesson, and presented by volunteer Victor Prager. The time slot allows for two lessons to take place, but the times are very organic, so speak to Victor if you need a longer or shorter than one hour weekly.

Bring your own laptop, tablet, or mobile, so you can learn what you need to on your own device. Come to class with a goal you want to achieve and Victor will help you reach that goal.

Lessons can include how to:

• access MyGov and MyAgedCare websites
• use applications
• sign up for websites
• use online banking and bill paying
• find the right information on the internet
• use email, skype, and more
• connect to friends and family on social media

Tech -Connect

A new project where refurbished pre-loved tablets, or brand new tablets are loaded with SIM cards, internet connection, and appropriate programs to help seniors staying in their own homes to connect via video phone calls to family and friends. 

Volunteer tutors and modules of study reflecting the topics above will be made available so seniors are supported on the new technology.
