Purpose of the Role
To run COA’s Kosher Meals Delivery service and operations by coordinating people, tasks
and flow in a warm, organised and reliable way.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Onboarding and Ordering
- Receive referrals/inquiries
- Confirm start date and welcome pack
- Process fee schedules and concessions
- Take orders, client requests, issues and changes
- Onboard new provider clients
- Manage meals email inbox
- Volunteer and Delivery Operations
- Coordinate volunteer packing and deliveries
- Roster/schedule volunteer drivers
- Brief volunteers on route or dietary updates
- Organise and supervise packing and loading
- Direct traffic, assist volunteers, handle drop-ins
- Suppliers and Procurement
- Place and reconcile orders with caterers and suppliers
- Manage shortages and substitutions
- Liaise with caterers and suppliers
- Purchase and receive packaging and stickers
- Track deliveries and specials
- Admin and Communication
- Communicate updates to clients and volunteers
- Maintain daily operational records
- Team & Culture
- Contribute meaningfully to an efficient and vibrant workplace.
- Maintain functioning of the kitchen and supplies.
- Assist with prep for events and activities
- Provide support for COA team and volunteers.
Skills, Attributes & Experience
- Strong organisational and logistical management skills
- Proactive and able to take initiative without constant supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Basic digital competence: handling simple systems and spreadsheets.
