Connections
COA prides itself on providing connections for Jewish seniors. Connections to services; like our kosher meals-on-wheels program, or our in-home help programs. Connections to culture through celebrations of major Jewish festivals, and provision of kosher lunches and snacks at our centre. Connections to peers in the community to help combat loneliness.
Opportunities
Opportunities for retirees to use their skill base for the benefit of COA members. Opportunities to learn new skills and achieve personal milestones. Opportunities to share ones passion by overseeing activities for our members at the COA Centre.
Activities
Large group events twice weekly on Monday and Wednesday with live entertainers, kosher lunch, and transport to and from the centre for members who need it. Plus a huge range of small group activities held 6 days weekly and encompassing, art, languages, Bridge and other games, shiurim with rabbis, chair exercises, current affairs discussions, Chess club, movie presentations, table tennis, and “Mystery Tour” bus outings on Tuesday and Thursday. There really is something for everyone.
