We are seeking a person of mild happy temperament to work with our existing in-house catering team on Monday and Wednesday mornings, making lunches for the days participants.

Skills: The job does not require any particular skills

Shifts: Shifts start at 8am and finish at 2:30pm, although the end time may be negotiated.

Bus Driver

COA has two mini buses (10 & 12 seats) which pick up people from the local area.

  • On Monday and Wednesday centre participants are picked up between 9 and 10.30 am and are delivered home again after 2pm
  • On Tuesday and Thursday we run outings where participants are picked up from and home and the centre and taken on an outing for a few hours, with the destinations decided on the day.

If you can drive a minibus and are intersed in either or both of these driving options please contact COA's Operations Manager

Occasional Transport Driver

Many COA members are to frail to use buses and need a private car to;

  • get to and from the COA centre
  • get to and from appointments, particularly in the city
  • attend special COA events held outside the Krygier Centre

If you are a driver, have a car, and are able to help on occasion, please consider putting your name on our "special transport" volunteer list.

You may be asked to drive very rarely, but when transport is needed you will be contacted.

To put you name on the list please speak to our Transport Manager or Office Manager
