These terms and conditions ('Terms of Use’) govern Your access to and use of the COA Sydney Website. The term 'You’ and 'Your’ refers to the user or viewer of the COA Sydney Website.
This licence is a legal agreement between You and COA Sydney. These Terms of Use apply together with Our Privacy Policy to Your use of the Website. You may only use the Website in accordance with these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy and any other applicable law.
Please read these Terms of Use and Our Privacy Policy carefully. Your use of the Website is conclusive acceptance of these Terms of Use and Our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms of Use and Our Privacy Policy from time to time. Your continued use of the Website will be deemed to be Your conclusive acceptance of the modified Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
We may, in Our sole discretion, take any action We consider appropriate (including withdrawing Your access to the Website) if You do not comply with these Terms of Use or We suspect that You have not complied with these Terms of Use.

Purchases & Donations

Funds collected through Credit/Debit Card are transferred to COA Sydney by electronic bank transfer.
In order for a donation to be tax deductible it must be an unconditional gift. When You make a to COA Sydney, you agree and acknowledge that:
1. the donation is an unconditional gift; and
2. Provided that your donation to COA Sydney is an unconditional gift of $2 or more, COA Sydney will issue You a receipt which allows you to claim a tax deduction in respect of Your donation.

Bank Charges and Refunds

All purchases and donations are to be made using a debit/credit card.
Once a donation is made, that transaction is final. If you become aware that your debit/credit card has been lost, stolen, or is being used fraudulently, it is your responsibility to report the issue to your financial institution.
We do not store Your debit/credit card details. We use the Commonwealth Bank of Australia for basic merchant facilities. We also use the services of Stripe, which does not store Your debit/credit card data. Stripe is Level 1 PCI DSS Compliant. PCI DSS Compliance is a strict set of security standards introduced by the card schemes to protect the confidentiality, availability and integrity of customer data. COA Sydney is not responsible for and does not provide any warranty as to the safety or security of the Stripe payment system.
Unfortunately COA Sydney is unable to provide any refunds. Under exceptional circumstances, COPA Sydney may in its sole discretion consider Your refund request.

Moadon Art Show 2023

Annually Moadon (also known as the Jewish Folk Centre) holds a community art exhibition in their Centre on Rowe St. This year COA joined in with a table advertising our sensational art class and selling packs of greeting cards made by regulars at the art classes on Tuesdays at COA.
New General Manager for COA

COA has hired Robbie Clifford to take the role of General Manger at COA. Robbie was our volunteer coordinator during COVID and we are so pleased he has decided to join us again this time as our GM.

Kosher meals on wheels

COA's Kosher Meals are made by professional Kosher caterers and delivered to recipients homes by our friendly and dedicated volunteers. There is a large menu to choose from and every meal delivered is subsidised by COA, so why not check the menu and see if this service may be right for you.
Our staff

COA is manned by a small paid staff who work hand in glove with over 200 active volunteers; coordinating and delivering services, providing organisational administration, taking enquiries from members, and ensuring compliance with government guidelines.

What we do

COA is a not-for-profit organisation in Eastern Sydney caring for the needs of Jewish and other seniors. We live our ethos by providing our clients connection to a social network of peers, activities in large and small groups 6 days weekly, and opportunities to access volunteer work, services, and support, to remain independently in their own homes for as long as practical. In all possible ways we aim to enrich the lives of Jewish seniors.
Management Committee

COA is governed by a volunteer Committee of Management whose members provide daily support to staff with running of activities, administration processes, and governance at the COA Centre. They determine our strategies going forward and ensure COA can provide the best quality services possible while remaining financially and legally secure.
Jobs

Work with a dedicated team of paid staff and volunteers in the heart of Sydney's Jewish Community. COA Centre Activities

As COA undergoes a transformation some of our usual activities offered at the COA Krygier Centre have moved offsite, whilst others remain at the Centre, and new activities will be added as they become available.

COA Fresh

COA Fresh is a weekly delivery of fresh produce and other items going to over 200 homes in our community. The program helps to provide food security to those who are unable to attend the shops and may not have the finances to afford fresh fruit and vegetables each week.
